Origin Outdoors Dutch Oven 'Grapen'

Entirely made of cast iron and very robust. The fire pot, which originated from the "Grapen" (engl. "Pipkin") and have also become widely known as the Dutch Oven, is ideal for outdoor cooking. It can be placed directly in an open fire. The excellent heat conduction and its heat storage over a long period of time as well as the extreme robustness distinguish this pot. Its uses are very versatile. You can cook, braise, roast, fry and even bake with it. Thanks to the thermometer feed-through a thermometer can be easily inserted to check the temperature inside at any time. The lid of the fire pot can also be used as a serving plate or pan. Additional info on Iron

For special pots and many pans, cast iron or rolled iron is required. Heavy but with a very even heat distribution ideal for frying and cooking.
